On a pleasant December evening (no rain and not too cold!) we gathered to reclaim the cut-way from the ever encroaching weeds. The walk way gives local residents access to the local train station so is a well used route but was becoming increasingly difficult to access due to the overgrown weeds.

It gave us a great chance to test out all of our lighting provided by Energise Me. It could have been mistaken for a runway it was that lit up. Fortunately no planes heading for Southampton Airport got confused! We got to work chopping back the overgrown plants and a final rake ensured the path was much clearer for pedestrians. We even managed to get some positive feedback upon completion from some unsuspecting pedestrians!

We sent Katherine away with a long list task ideas for the new year so we look forward to making some more plans for 2024.
