Friends of Colliers Wood Parks and Green SpacesThis is our first session support Friends of Colliers Wood Parks and Green Spaces volunteers who will be dead heading daffodils in Wandle Park during their monthly session - rough location on Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/zGLsqhqssRwCcCQA9?g_st=ac.
On arrival look out for the other volunteers and Margaret (our contact) should be at the location. Although note that a few volunteers are moving a picnic bench into the park from the Holden (nearby, approx 300m away) so do not worry if you cannot find anyone. Bring gardening gloves if you have them and the task is simply to remove the dead heads of the daffodils (pictured) which can be done gently by hand; no tools needed.
