The Small Quarter Community GardenThe Small Quarter Community Garden grows fruit and vegetables to be distributed to those less fortunate or able to afford healthy food through food banks.
The team of volunteers are very grateful for our help with moving of soil from Canons House to the Small Quarter garden site as it's quite a distance. Please look for Rosemary when you arrive.
We will be using a wheeled trolley to shift the soil by loading it up and unloading at the other end. The trolley is stored at the Canons House but will not go through the entrance gate to the garden. Prepare to get your steps in during this session as the mulch needs to be moved around 200 meters from the pile to the garden over an accessible railway bridge.
Meeting location is the shed outside the Pawalek Coffee Shop (located next to Canon's House). Note that the garden is located at: The Small Quarter, Croydon Road, Mitcham CR4 4JA.
