07:30 - 08:30Mission Description: Join us for a hands-on community mission supporting The Myton Hospices as they prepare for their much-loved Moonlight Walk fundraiser.
We’ll be helping the events team get everything ready before participants arrive. Tasks will include unloading equipment from a van and setting up gazebos and other event infrastructure around Warwick Castle.
This is a great chance to make a real difference behind the scenes of a major local fundraising event, helping ensure everything runs smoothly for the walkers raising money for an incredible cause.
What to expect:
Lifting and carrying equipment (teamwork makes it easier!) Setting up gazebos and event areas A friendly, social atmosphere with fellow GoodGymers
When: It is short notice and I appreciate people have work commitments: Friday 17thApril : 7.30am - until you need to leave or the job is complete (minimum 1 hr)
Where: Warwick Castle FREE Parking available at Stables Car Park - provide your car registration number at the business centre at the entrance of the castle
Meeting point: In the courtyard at the entrance to the castle
What to bring:
Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty Trainers or sturdy shoes Gloves if you have them (optional but useful)
Good to know:
No experience needed – just enthusiasm and a willingness to help Tasks may be moderately physical, but we’ll support each other You’ll be directly supporting vital hospice care in our community ❤️
