Christian CARE is a charity working in the London Borough of Merton. They are a group of 60 volunteers from 16 different churches offering help to anyone whatever their race, colour or religion. Each year over 100 families, whose lives are in crisis, are supported. They are always in need of food, clothes and furniture, so please follow the link to their website for further details and their latest requirements.

The Community Garden Project grows vegetables for the church activities and the community. Over the seasons the garden has lots of different jobs that need supporting. For this task we will be joining Abby and others for the first time this year at their monthly Sunday afternoon gardening session. Dig out those gardening gloves and come along, it’s a nice way to spend Sunday afternoon and they are a very friendly bunch!
