Sunday, 2nd of April 2017

Sunday 2nd April was a special day for GRACE - they were having a community fun day to raise money and spread the work about the great work they do supporting refugees here and abroad. When we arrived the event was just getting started so while Steve helped to man the cash desk Kim and I sorted through the clothes in the jumble sale followed by a stint out on the main road spreading the word about the event. Luckily for us everyone seemed to be heading in the right direction anyway leaving us plenty of time to talk about the summer's main event, the GoodGym Olympics. Sadly Kim wasn't giving anything away about what the Lewisham flag will look like. A speech from the mayor and photo with a fire engine and we were done.
