An Arsenal of Christmas Helpers

On Monday evening (just before the festive holiday season) 4 Goodgym Islington regulars helped out at Elizabeth House Food Hub with their annual Christmas delivery drive.

The core team for the food hub work throughout the day time hours to help with sorting donations and contributions for essential supplies and shopping for local families and isolated individuals. However, the extra hands are required during the Christmas holidays for additional presents and gifts provided to youngsters across the borough! Goodgym accepted the call, and assisted with deliveries on foot, where bikes and cars struggle to reach.

Approximately 14-17 households were visited by Goodgym volunteers this evening, and we efficiently made our way through the huge pile of deliveries left for us at 6pm! Well done all, and have a wonder Christmas break!
