Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.

We have been invited to take part in a fantastic worldwide challenge to capture as much data on plant and animal biodiversity as possible! This is a really fun global event where groups of volunteers take and upload pictures of trees/plants/animals to a central database. The data is used by bodies such as research organisations, so you can really make a difference to scientific research with this task. Cities compete against each other to see who can capture the most data and get the most people engaged.

Please download the (free) iNaturalist app before the task. This is the app we will use to identify images and then upload them so they can be shared with the community. If you can't get it to work before the task then don't worry, we will show you how!

You can find out more about the challenge here.

GoodGym Bath took part last year and it was a very rewarding way to spend a Sunday morning. I would highly recommending this as a way to explore nature, maybe see a part of Bath you haven't been to before and get fit at the same time!

Cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak:

We will only be doing community missions that are vital and absolutely necessary during this period to ensure we are not risking unnecessary spread of infection.

GoodGym keeps me running which means I can eat a lot of cake. It's a win win for the community and my belly.
