Citizen science at the Mutton Brook Tiny Forest
Help these urban forests thrive
Location
Tiny Forest, Mutton BrookBarnet
NW11 6DA
Date and time
11:00 - 12:30Help the local community look after three tiny forests planted near Mutton Brook, just off the A1 at Henley's corner. You will be litter picking and weeding, to keep the site looking good and to help the young trees to thrive. There may be other citizen science tasks, time permitting. Tiny forests are dense patches of native tree cover in urban locations with all the benefits of forests, like carbon capture and animal sanctuary.
There are not four tiny forests at the Mutton Brook site, so there's plenty of work to do!
