Make the nature reserve a nicer place for residents to enjoy

Date and time
10:00 - 11:45Cherry Orchard Nature Reserve sits at the end of Diglis Fields and runs down to the banks of the River Severn. It's a former landfill site that is a great example of what happens when you let nature reclaim the land and is now home to an abundance of flora and fauna. Unfortunately not everyone takes care of it and over the years litter has been a big problem so part of the mission will be to garb some pickers and collect as much rubbish as we can. The second part will be to clear a few areas of brambles to create quiet spaces that can be used for people to sit and enjoy the natural surroundings. All tools will be kindly provided by Friends of Diglis Fields and Worcester Environmental Group. Bring snacks and drinks and clothes suitable for gardening work.
We hope to have a very productive morning making this a space to be proud of!
