Today we were with St Lawrence Church, lending a hand with their fundraising fete. We helped set up the day, ensuring stall-holders had tables, chairs and covers, Set up the BBQ for food and made sure all had refreshments throughout the day. A very successful day, ended with help to clear and packdown. £1333 raised for the new heaters, exceeding expecations!

Tonight 5 GoodGymers were living the park life dream, helping clear nettles, brambles and weeds to make space for a wildflower area.
Not to be deterred by mosquito attacks, we all sprayed up and double layered and survived generally un-bitten! Even if some of us resembled crime-scene cleaners!

Today we were back at Belle Isle Park, continuing the ground clearing work ready for more wildflower seeding. A great effort from all, pretty sweaty work moving the cuttings. Not so much fun being the mosquito buffet but hopefully not too many bites!

Tonight, 5 GoodGymers were back at Belle Isle Park to carry on the prep work for future seeding. We were thrilled to be joined by first-timer Joe, who put us all to shame with clearing the cuttings! A big welcome and thank you!
We'll be back at the park next week to carry on the work!

Three good Gym-ers joined the bell isle park volunteer crew to cut back brambles, clear overgrown areas and have a good catch up. It was a beautiful evening and we enjoyed not working in the baking hot sun for a change!

Today was a special session, Lucy R hitting her 400th good deed! An amazing achievement and a huge well done! Our task today was a spot of seed picking followed by ice cream and a good social drink. A lovely summer evening for it!
