Luton Area Activator
Wednesday evening group sessions are all about coming together as a big team and heading out together to a practical task out in the community.
This week we're teaming up with the Wildlife Trust to visit Dallow Downs, a large nature reserve right on the edge of Luton, the Downs are home to a rare chalk grassland habitat and we'll help look after it by clearing litter, trimming back paths and removing invasive plant species to protect the rare plants. 🌺
We meet up at 6:45 at the outdoor stage opposite the Hat Factory on Bute Street, where we say hi to eachother and warm up for the run.
Walkers are welcome but please arrive promptly as we'll send you off a bit early so we all arrive at similar times.
Bikers are welcome too but make sure you've got lights and are happy riding in the road when we're not on cycle paths.

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym group run, with the option of walking too. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run or walk to the task together. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator David Mansfield by email at davidmansfield@goodgym.org.
The total distance of this group run is 5km.
Remember that we will be running or walking to and from the task, so you'll only be running or walking for half this distance in one go.
GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
