All of our tasks are fun, but this one really felt like we were having a clear and direct impact on those in need, and whilst packing the bags we could literally imagine a child opening their bag on Christmas Day.

Hi GoodGymers,
We’re planning our Easter event at Packmores Community Centre, and we need your help to get the area ready! The event will take place at the front and back of the garages, and we want to make sure the space is clear and safe for everyone.
We’ll be clearing brambles and leaves so the area is ready to use. Come along and join us for some outdoor exercise, teamwork, and a bit of community fun!
Details:
Date: Saturday 14th March 2026 Time: 10.30am Duration: 45-60 MIns
Location: Front and back of the garages, Packmores Community Centre
Getting there: We’ll meet on site, but you’re encouraged to run, walk, or cycle to the event. It’s a great way to warm up, get some extra exercise, and reduce the number of cars around the community centre.
Tasks: Cutting back brambles, clearing leaves and debris, tidying the area
What to bring/wear:
Sturdy gloves (preferably thorn-resistant) Long sleeves and trousers to protect from scratches Sturdy shoes or boots
Any tools you can bring (loppers, rakes, secateurs) – we’ll have some on hand too!
This is a great opportunity to get active, enjoy the outdoors, and make a real difference for the community. Let’s get this area ready for a fantastic Easter celebration!
Thanks, and we hope to see you there! We will meet on-site for this task.
We provide outreach work for hard-to-reach residents on the Packmores estate with project funding from Warwick District Council

GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
