About this session

Wednesday evening group sessions are all about coming together as a big team and heading out together to a practical task out in the community.

This week we are going to run up to the Welcome to Luton gravel sign that welcomes people arriving into Luton. It's got a bit overrun with weeds and we'll get it looking fresh again!

We'll meet up at 6:45 at the University on Vicarage Street, where we'll say hi to eachother and warm up for the run.

It's 2.4km each way so you'll do about 5km total with a break in the middle.

Walkers are welcome, we'll send you off early with someone else so you can make it to the task in time so do be prompt if you want to walk.

Bikers are welcome too but make sure you've got lights and are happy riding in the road when we're not on cycle paths.

What to look out for

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym group run, with the option of walking too. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run or walk to the task together. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator David Mansfield by email at davidmansfield@goodgym.org.

The total distance of this group run is 5km.

Remember that we will be running or walking to and from the task, so you'll only be running or walking for half this distance in one go.
