For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
Forest Rec Junior parkrun takes place every Sunday morning, providing a free, fun, and friendly 2k event for 4 to 14 year olds. They need a team of willing volunteers each week to help with jobs from marshalling the route (cheering on the runners), to helping to give out finish tokens and more.
No experience necessary and there are always people on hand if you have any questions.
Where is Junior parkrun?
Forest Rec Junior parkrun takes place at the Forest Recreation Ground, right in front of the Homemade Café (great for a beverage or snack afterwards!). Volunteers are needed from 8.30am until about 10am at the latest.
How to get involved
There may not be a member of GoodGym Taskforce at this session. Once signed up, please liaise directly with the parkrun volunteering team if you need to cancel or if you have any questions.
If Forest Rec isn’t convenient, there are also Junior parkruns at the following locations. The sign up process is the same as above (still add yourself to this task page to get your GoodGym credits).
