For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
The sunflower walk raises funds so that the Thames Hospice can continue to provide compassionate care to their patients and their families across East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. Walkers can choose from a 2.5km route around Bray Lake, a 10km around Bray and Dorney Lakes, or a half marathon to Windsor and back.
The organisers are looking for help from 8am. They need marshals on all route - what a great opportunity to get fit and do good at the same time! Alternatively, they also need help back at the Hospice in Bray with registration, serving refreshments, handing out medals etc. Exact timing TBA nearer to the event - you may not be required to stay until 3pm, depending on where you are stationed
If you can help with any of these roles, as well as signing up here, please email Erin at e.knight@thameshospice.org.uk to let her know how and when you can help out
Thames Hospice provide expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. A vital part of their work is also supporting patients' families and carers, and they run 22 shops across the region to raise funds.
