๐ Why It Matters
AbPhab's garden is a special memorial garden for Neil who was the club's very first young person to sign-up when it opened in 1997.Neil went on to campaign tirelessly for the rights of disabled people in Barking & Dagenham and beyond
Deputy Managers Sarah, Kelly and the rest of AbPhab team need help refreshing the garden; during the spring we'll be painting and varnishing the vegetable planters and archway, giving the whole garden a thorough weeding, laying new stone pebbles in the borders and helping install art work.
AbPhab provides incredible opportunities for 11-25 year-olds with special educational needs and disabilities, and our task will make the garden ready for young people to use, including harvesting the fruit & vegetables for cooking sessions!
