For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
Come and help people with Parkinson's to get active, walk safely outside and build community.
You will be setting up the poles before the walk starts (you will will receive instruction and guidance!) before walking with the group, monitoring the walkers and at times sitting with those who are need a rest while others may walk further or perhaps walking ahead with some participants while group leader remains with those who need support.
There will be two walks every Thursday, from 11 to 12 and then from 2 to 3pm. Please join whichever session you can.
The leader will be Lisa, who will meet you directly outside the Millennium Arena on the East Carriageway of Battersea Park.
Aims to support people with Parkinson's and others' efforts to improve their walking, access to exercise, mood, socialisation and general well being
