For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
The Danson Fireworks are back after a year away, and one of the organisations we support, the Community Hospice, has been chosen as the event's charity partner.
The Hospice will receive a share of the proceeds, making this a fantastic opportunity for them to raise vital funds. The Hospice team have asked GoodGym to lend a hand - or rather three pairs of hands - getting everything ready.
🎯 The task
We'll be helping to set up the Community Hospice stall inside the fireworks enclosure at Danson Park.
There's some shifting and lifting involved! We'll be ferrying the gazebo, tables and boxes of leaflets from the van to the Hospice pitch, then putting up the gazebo and getting everything ship-shape for when the crowds arrive.
📍 When and where
Please arrive for 1pm at the following entrance in Danson Park:
What3words: ///crate.radio.lakes
On arrival you'll be asked for your name and email address to confirm your details, then head to the Community Hospice gazebo pitch.
Ask for Augusta Adu, the Community Hospice Event Manager. In case you need it Augusta's number is 07795 374 852.
This a brilliant chance to support a much-loved local charity, get involved behind the scenes and play a part in one of Bexley's biggest community events. Let's help the Hospice get off to a flying start!
