Getting there

For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!

    About this session

Roots4Life are an amazing charity with an 8 acre site, which is home to a teaching kitchen, growing beds, orchard, trim trail, wildflower meadow and wildlife pond. It's a treat to spend some time here.

This week we will be moving trees and weeding paths.

Please bring gardening gloves if you have them 🧤

Tea, coffee and cake will be provided. No need to stay the whole time, just come for as long as you want!

    This task supports
    Roots4Life
8 acres of land in New Eltham dedicated to organic growing, cooking and exercise with kids

We teach kids on the brink of food poverty how to grow food and cook it. we also hold community lunches and supply food banks as well as running holiday camps for children.

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
