For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
The Active Wellbeing Society are resuming distribution of food parcels around the city as part of their #BrumTogether movement.
They are doing daily food parcels from their distribution centre at 10 Bromley Street, Digbeth, B9 4AN on:
Mondays 8.30am-4.00pm Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays 8.30am-7.00pm Fridays 8.30am-2.00pm
The distribution centre is open for these hours but please spare the time you have, whether that's an hour, two or more. It will really help to get these food parcels created. If you want to share the time you are planning to volunteer, leave a comment below in the discussion for other GoodGym members to join up with you, or put a message into the Whatsapp group.
Please report to the Distribution Centre Manager on arrival. You will be required to complete a Volunteer Agreement on arrival and follow social distancing and Health & Safety guidelines.
For further details please email volunteering@theaws.org or myself at johnhayes@goodgym.org
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
