Getting there

For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!

    About this session

Mackyard Events are seeking marshals, cheering squad and potentially pacers for their 2nd "Mack on Track" event!

Mack on Track is a super inclusive 5000m track running event, with a twist. The objective is to help as many runner as possible get (or come close to) their personal beats for 5km by providing trusted pacers to do so.

For Mack on Track 01, the team had 12 different pace groups across the night, offering times from 40 mins, all the way to 17 mins!

The team are looking for helps to assist with registration of participants, alerting runners about when each pace group starts and cheering on the athletes!

Any volunteers who would be open to pacing a specific time would also be hugely appreciated. More depth in pacers means that more participants can have to opportunity to run their fastest times!

Please email to get involved: hello@mackyardevents.com

    • Specify that you are part of Goodgym, and that you would be up for volunteering

    • If you would like a particular role (registration team, race organisation etc), please say so

    • If you would be open to pacing, please state what times you would be comfortable running consistently, and the crew might call on you!

Additional information about Mack on Track 02

Back by popular demand, the Mackyard City Series returns. We proudly bring to you, Mack on Track 2.

Missed the last event? Came but missed your PB by a whisker? Came, loved it and just want to do it all over again? You’re in the right place.

We’re back at the iconic Olympic Park Track, situated in the shadow of the London Stadium and overlooking the infamous Canary Wharf.

This event is not a race against anyone else, it is you vs. you.

Runners will be guided by our trusted pacers around the 400m track in an attempt to achieve your very own 5km PB.

A personal best is personal. We will provide you with the environment, support and atmosphere to achieve this. All you need to do is run.

Runners will be set off in waves based on your goal time and once you have got the job done, we want to see you ringing that PB bell, then loudly supporting your fellow runners as they set out to do the same.

Remember, our events do not end at the finish line. As you revel in your achievement and contribute to the party atmosphere, you’ll also be able to help yourself to some tasty products from our partners.

Not running this time? No problem. We welcome all supporters to come down and cheer on our runners from the fully covered, seated spectator stand.

    See you on the track.
