Dashwood Manor is doing a Scarecrow competition on Friday the 25th of September and Sammi has got us a space in this.
So we are going to meet at the Basingstoke Sports and Social Club at 6:15pm like normal and we are going to litter pick while it is light, but we will be litter picking with the intention of finding (safe) things to add to our scarecrow.
When we have collected some good bits and it is getting dark we will head back to the social club where we will get building!
A reminder that you can get food and drink at the Social Club when we are back if you want

Hi 👋 is it possible to nominate the cycle path between Deep Lane & Grafton Way for litter picking? I think council has recently mown the edges of the path & a huge amount of litter is now visible!

I found a discarded GLOVE today. Now we just need people to discard a hat, shirt, trousers, boots & 1 glove & we'll have a full scarecrow.

Hey Christine, we will head in that direction, but I'm not sure we will get there within the timeframe :)
