Getting there

For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!

    About this session

Join us as we come together to support one of our most popular local parkruns. Each week hundreds of runners, including many GoodGymmers, show up at Hove Promenade to run or walk the 5km route along the seafront. But, this free weekly event can't happen without support from volunteers. From marshalling along the route, to scanning finisher barcodes - each week needs around 80 people to ensure smooth running of the event.

To take part, you first need to be registered with parkrun. You can register for free here: https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/

You then need to add your name and parkrun number to this spreadsheet so they can allocate roles for the day (LINK TO FOLLOW).

    See you there!

    What to look out for

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs

This session is organised by your Taskforce, a group of experienced GoodGym members in your area. They are not responsible for your safety. You should feel confident to participate in the session as it is described and you do so at your own risk.
