For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
Blackfen Community Library is much more than just a place to borrow books – it's a fantastic community hub, with activities, friendly faces and a café.
The library is having a mini makeover, and they're looking for some extra pairs of hands to help with the finishing touches. There's a variety of jobs to get stuck into, including touching up paintwork and giving everything a good clean, helping make the space look its best for everyone who uses it.
The great thing about this task is that you can volunteer at a time that suits you. Drop in any time between 9am and 4pm on Monday 3 August, Tuesday 4 August or Wednesday 5 August. There are separate GoodGym task listings for each day, so simply sign up for the date that works best for you.
When you sign up, please leave a comment on the listing to let us know roughly what time you plan to go along, so we can keep the library team updated.
Whether you can spare an hour or stay for longer, every helping hand will make a real difference!
