You can apply for your DBS here.
Document checks are required to take part in GoodGym tasks to support older people. You need to undertake a DBS check with GoodGym even if you already hold a current DBS.
You need to show us three documents, including a valid photo ID and proof of address. A list of documents that we are able to accept can be found on the government's DBS website here.
The easiest combination is:
1. Valid Passport
2. Valid Driving Licence photocard
3. Proof of current address, e.g. bank statement (dated within last 3 months); utility bill (dated within last 3 months); council tax bill (dated within last 12 months).
Please note: The DBS will not accept photocopies, screenshots, or downloads of any of the documents. (If all your statements are paperless, find out more here).
For further questions on GoodGym DBS requirements, please refer to our relevant page here, or email our Central DBS team at dbs@goodgym.org.
