Lewisham Outreach Service hasve referred Ms S who cannot climb up to her curtain rail. She has a broken curtain rail which needs re-screwing. She is worried she will fall and hurt herself if she tries to fix it herself. She recently had two very good volunteers here to do two jobs: a curtain pole repair and garden clearance.
The curtain pole was successfully repaired on the right hand joint on the bay-window curtain pole. However, the volunteer said that they needed a new joint for the left hand side. Ms S thinks the necessary part should be stocked by B&Q but was out of stock that day. She would love it if a volunteer could now go and buy the part and finish the repair.
If you get time after the above, Ms S would love help with a tidy-up of her front and back gardens. She said it looks much better after the GoodGymer visited, but needs a tidy up.
GoodGym has listed this mission for one or two GoodGymers. Two GoodGymers can attend together, but the mission will still go ahead with just one if only one person signs up by the deadline. If you would prefer not to attend this task on your own, please email missioncontrol@goodgym.org as soon as possible. We will then make sure the task isn’t confirmed unless a second GoodGymer is also available to join you.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This mission was from a referrer who states that they knowMs S's behaviour and environment enough to say that they do not pose a risk to you.
No mission is ever completely safe; to make sure you are safe, please ensure you are confident in your missions training. It is possible that Ms S's situation may have changed or that the referrer has not identified every potential risk.
By signing up to this mission, you agree for GoodGym to share your email address with other runners signed up to the mission.
Comments are a good place to ask any questions you may have about the session.
