For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
A cleaner beach will create a safer, more welcoming environment for the local and visiting communities and help reduce the amount of waste being left in the sea. Meeting at 11am on Great Yarmouth Beach just behind the JoyLand Dinner, we're planning to cover as much of Gt.Yarmouth beach and the general beach side area as possible. Although we'll be collecting as much waste as possible, the thought is to be as visible as we can to try and encourage people to change their behaviors when it comes to leaving waste on the beach. We'd love to see whole families taking part, from young to old, bags, gloves and pickers will be supplied. For anyone interested, we'll likely have a game of mini-golf at Pirate Cove afterwards...as well as some fish and chips!
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
