This week, we will meet outside Hornsey Rise Kickabout Playground to help the team with this awesome task. There is not a scheduled group run this week, but you are welcome to use the Arsenal Community Hub for bag drop, changing rooms and WC facilities.
Area Activator Simon will be out of the country from 4th July to 18th July, but our crew will still be active for our Monday Community Missions!
We will be meeting near to Sunnyside Community Centre, to a former playground on Hornsey Rise. The plan is to convert this under utilised site to become a new growing project!
We will be collecting woodchips from Sunnyside Community Gardens using wheelbarrows and shovels. Then filling former coffee sacks with soil, woodchip and "chaff", the discarded cherries from coffee roasting. These bags will then be left to cultivate over time, and become great fertiliser for the gardens!
