Getting there

For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!

About this session

There are four roles which will be allocated on the day. These include:

1) Parking access steward (1) - manage the flow into the building 2) Front & side (disabled access) door steward (3) - asking covid questions, taking temperature, giving hand gel 3) Back door steward (1) - ensuring people know the right way to exit the building 4) Main hall steward (2) - directing people to the vaccination booths

The shift is 15:45 - 2015 Full briefing, appropriate supervision and personal protective equipment will be available to ensure the safety of staff, volunteers and patients. Shifts will be approximately 4.5 hours long

If you sign up to this mission, I will email you a copy of the agreement from the task owner and a risk assessment which you will need to tick to show you understand

This task supports
BANES Enhanced Medical Services (BEMS)
Bridging the gap between Primary, Secondary and Community Care in BANES

BEMS is the local GP federation linking together all the General Practices across B&NES. It is a not-for-profit organisation and every practice in the area is a member of BEMS. We are based in Bath and work to support practices and their staff to look after their patients.

What to look out for

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs

This session is organised by your Taskforce, a group of experienced GoodGym members in your area. They are not responsible for your safety. You should feel confident to participate in the session as it is described and you do so at your own risk.

I'm afraid that I've just received this message from the task owner this morning: "We are not going to have enough vaccine to fulfill the appointments and therefore can't run, meaning shift 3 won't be happening. I am so sorry, as I appreciate you will no doubt have already alerted everyone regarding LTF" Apologies team, it's out of everyone's hands :( I will be posting a Bath City farm task on Saturday though so please watch this space.
