Getting there

For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!

    About this session

Help clear some of the overgrown allotments - venue tbc.

We are working to reduce the waiting times for vacant allotments, which can take many months due to unwanted plants and rubbish. Once cleared theses allotments can help with cost of living crisis, and increase local food growth that is sustainable for the environment.

Bring your own gloves! Please wear long trousers and suitable shoes incase of brambles.

We'll meet directly at the task at 10.30am. Valpy Avenue Allotments can be accessed through a gate directly opposite 13 Valpy Avenue, NR3 2BN.

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
