For our bank holiday session we were back at Paradise Cooperative Garden last night. This amazing space used to be derelict ground, but volunteers have transformed it into a beautiful space with hives, vegetable gardens, a community area and polytunnels. The food grown there is donated to local people and charities, and made into various other things including some delicious sounding cider!

Thanks to the bank holiday we were a much smaller group than usual, but that wasn't going to hold us back! So after meeting at the gate, Rowan and Roly (welcome to London Roly!) ventured into the garden to get cracking with painting the sheds in the community area.

While Rowan and Roly did a very neat and efficient job, I found myself getting more paint over myself than the actual shed, but before long we had covered all the areas we needed to and were ready to down tools.

Nice work team! Next week we're back to normal meeting the group at the BAC -you can sign up for the run here. Hope to see you there! There is also a regular mission at a local centre for the homeless on Friday lunchtimes, and you can find the details here. Have a great week of running and doing good!
