We are known for our willingness to take on unexpectedly large tasks at Goodgym Trafford and this Community Mission was no exception.

This is going to be a massive help - thank you!

On our arrival at St Ms for our regular gardening task we discovered a multitude of donated pots, pans and other kitchen utensils that Reach Out to the Community had brought to the community centre kitchen. Reach out are currently providing meals for homeless people being housed in hotels during the pandemic and so it seemed like a bit of perfect Goodgym serendipity to park the gardening and help them get ready to start their cooking.

Cue scrubbing, cleaning, drying and an all round hive of activity to finish pretty much every thing so that the team could come in the following morning to do a deep clean of the kitchen and hit the ground running with their vital service.

Well done to the GoodGym Team who stayed on later to finish and really rolled up their sleeves to get the task done.

AWESOME WORK EVERYONE!!!

Thanks, Kate x
