A happy cry for the start of the mission. 3 large boxes of asparagus were donated! After trimmed and soaked in cold water for 1h, they became nice and fresh! Around the time, I also revived from the exhaustion of running in the muggy air to get there. So, I carried on trimming various green vegetables: coriander, mint and lettuce. Welcome to the mid summer, 'Willkommen Spargel'!

With help from organisations like FareShare, the Borough Food Cooperative acts as a subsidized supermarket, offering members to stop in and pick up £15-£20 worth of groceries for £4.50. The Cooperative is open during lockdown to provide essential supplies to local households
