Africa and I braved the windy weather to meet up in Richmond on Saturday, both running around 5k along the river to get to our task. We received a warm welcome from Mrs. B, who has difficulties with her vision and misses being able to do the gardening work - she assured us that she used to do "war with the daisies" until none were left standing. Hopefully we did her proud, tackling anything that looked like a weed and then raking away old leaves to spruce the area up a bit. Mrs. B was very grateful for the help. Task finished, we ran off in opposite directions to enjoy the rest of our weekends.
