The Fab Four met on this beautiful June evening, raring to go for the evening's task! After a quick catch up and kerb steps warm up, we headed off up the hill to the task.

Florentine was there to meet us with her usual infectious smile and positive vibes. She had been busy working at the school all day and was so grateful for any help we could provide. As the school is still in the early phases, there are lots of jobs to do to get it ready, most of which are made so much easier with a group of people, perfect for us!

Today's task was to help Florentine clear the massive pile of the leaves and twigs in the front garden, that she had gathered from cutting down the

huge, ugly bushes

We grabbed gloves, spades, boxes and bags and got stuck in.

The pile was deceivingly big and complex!

Mairead and Sharon worked together down one end filling boxes with larger twigs, whilst myself and Steve filled bags with rubbish and leaves. Florentine got to work helping where she could, whilst sharing stories of the trials and tribulations refurbishing the school.

After a solid 45 minutes filling bags and boxes, the pile was finally conquered! We worked in pairs to move everything around the back of the building, ready to be taken to the tip. With a quick sweep and a few obligatory photos later, we were ready to head back to Shaw Lane.

No time for fitness sesh, much to everyone's

extreme disappointment

so after a decent stetch of our tired legs, everyone said their goodbyes. Great session everyone!
