After meeting up with Bob, the task owner, and 7 other willing volunteers from Friends of Haymill, we set off into 'The Millie' as it's known to locals.

We headed round toward the Kingfisher sculpture to start clearing back the overgrown bramble and nettles from the path. A couple of people went off litter picking.

After a short coffee and cake break we moved further up the path and split into two groups to tackle some more overgrown areas and trying to avoid injuries from the thorny branches.

It's always really satisfying to see how improved it looks after our efforts.
