Tonight's group session seemed determined to test fate.

First, our original task was cancelled. Then, as if the gods weren't finished with us yet, England's men's football team reached the World Cup knockout stage, with their next match landing squarely on our GoodGym night!

Predicting many of us would be watching the game, Plan B was a litter pick in the beautiful Lamorbey Park for anyone not glued to the telly.

In the end, the litter pick was a solo affair, but every great team starts with at least one player!

By full time, one bag of rubbish had been collected, with lots of litter shown the red card.

As for the football? England secured the win, with Harry Kane finding the net twice. The litter-picking squad may have been small, but both teams can claim a successful result tonight.

Now let's hope England's next fixture remembers that Wednesday evenings are reserved for GoodGym!
