2 GoodGymers returned to help LWS Night Shelter with sorting their donations.

This week it was the turn of pasta! Spaghetti, spirals, macaroni, tagliatelle - we sorted it all!

We started by getting all the boxes of pasta out of the storage unit and dating all the bags (some of which thankfully had already been done). It was then a case of splitting the packets by date into crates and stacking them back up in reverse date order. This didn't take too long at all - until we discovered another box full that we'd missed, argh!

So we dated all those packets, unstacked our stack of crates and slotted the packs into the correct crate and with a bit of re-jigging managed to get the crates all stacked back up again.

After all this we still had some energy and time left, so decided to start on sorting the clothes - mainly sock and boxers. We've made a start but will have to return to finish the job another day.

It was lovely to welcome back Marina and chat about our plans over Easter.
