It was truly "taters" outside which meant a decidedly chilly and somewhat cautious bike ride up to visit Mr T this afternoon in the falling snow and icy conditions - a heated seat and a ready brek glow would certainly have helped.

However, like putting on a comfortable pair of slippers or hearing a favourite song, there was something very reassuring about saying hello to Mr T again and collecting his oh so familiar list and heading, and at times sliding, to his nearby Tesco to sweep the shelves of lurpak, hovis, cheddar, carrots and sprouts.

With his favourite 2.5kg of Maris Pipers also safely bagged, it was a brisk walk back to Mr T's to do the drop off...by which time I'm pretty sure the sprouts were frozen too.
