As always there was a mix of things to do for the lovely Ms L, whose Motor Neuron Disease has removed much of her manual dexterity. They are things that carers aren’t able to do for her.
There were a few issues to sort out on her phone - she’d accidentally switched it on to night mode. It became clear whilst sorting that she wasn’t using the capability to do voice searches on her phone, so we practiced a couple of those.
After watering the plants on the balcony, we went through some boxes - a broken CD player and some other electrical stuff was thrown away. We admired some of the ceramics that she’d made before her MND diagnosis. As always we chatted a lot and had a cuppa, it is probably the most important part of the visit - two friends catching up.
