Gilkian, Scarlett, Matthew and Sheila all turned up ro help the Baby Bank today. We were faced with a huge pile of donations to sort, but luckily there was a team of corporate volunteers there today. So they were put in charge of the initial donation-sort, whilst the GoodGym volunteers did the secondary checking and put the clothes away in the appropriate boxes. With 10 of them, and only 4 of us, we were never going to win, but the teams made an enormous impact on the donation pilet, and the Baby Bank team now know what they have, and what size of clothes they need to appeal for. Great job, guys

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
