A small 'Cherry' picked group ran to Leaflet for the Syndi Centre this week, Cherry picked being the word, as Cherry our lovely runner who travels the furthest to run with us from Worcester did a sterling run this week. The loop back group didn't have much looping back to do.

Following a warm up, with 'temper tantrums' galore - thanks to Mel for her version of fast feet, we ran a new route to the Syndenham Estate.

Splitting into two groups we covered the area with our super fast feet, taking on an effort session at the same time, with sprints and then recovery posting... The target area was covered in super quick time, and a few photos were taken, although the light wasn't the best. We did however find the best window decoration for Christmas.

On our return leg, we overtook a group of Christmas Walkers all dressed up in antlers and boppers and even managed to collect an extra runner at the lights, wearing his posh shoes and Christmas party clothes he joined us for half a mile. Hopefully we have a new recruit for next week, clearly we really are the most friendly running group out there.....

Back at base we did a cool down and then (due to Becky having a new phone) squatted for 10 secs to take our selfie....

Massive thanks to those that came along last night, we may have been the smallest group yet but we certainly smashed the task. Lovely to see Helen back for her second run and massive well done to Gavin for doing an extra loop so that he completed his 9k challenge.

Can't wait to see you all next week - don't forget to bring your best Christmas outfits......
