When I got to Mr J’s, the neighbour’s cat was already there sheltering from Claudia’s rain. Outside ASDA on my way to Mr J’s GP practice was a soggy dog waiting patiently for its cycling human to trot along behind. The trip to the GP and shop were pretty standard fayre plus the first of the Christmas purchases - some mince pies.
