Volunteers really went out on a limb at Woodfield Pavilion, rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in to some poplar planting with true grit (and plenty of dirt). From digging holes that were un-be-leaf-ably stubborn, to carefully planting young saplings and building sturdy protection barriers, the team proved they’re a cut above when it comes to growing good things for the future. It was a hands-on, down-to-earth effort that will help these trees branch out safely for years to come — a solid day’s work that definitely deserves a round of a-trees-iation.
