Another mixed bag of things done for the lovely Ms L who is struggling with Motor Neurone Disease and another serious unrelated condition. All things she needs doing but carers don’t have the time to do.

We cleared some space on her table, including some roses that had never got beyond budding (but should have been as per the photo); also some letters from her landlord about the broken down lifts which had left her unable to got beyond her top floor flat last week; plus sorting some some post-it notes that with things she needs to add to her funeral plan. There were understandably a few tears about this - particularly when she checked whether I wanted to go.

Clearing some space on her table was something she wanted so that she could read some of her past diaries.

Despite all this, or perhaps because of it, we had a lovely chat over a cup of tea.
