We arrived at BFC and got started with the big task of the day - move a huge no-wheels refrigerator across the building and onto the elevator. Once that was sorted, we moved some more tiny refrigerators and then got on packing the food for distribution :) Fleur managed to pack an impressive amount of food in a very short span - kudos to her!!

Borough Food Cooperative

The Borough Food Cooperative opened in October 2020. With help from organisations like FareShare, the Borough Food Cooperative acts as a subsidized supermarket, offering members to stop in and pick up £15-£20 worth of groceries for £4.50. The Cooperative is open during lockdown to provide essential supplies to local households
