Helena and I met Mrs W outside her home and she showed us around straight away so we knew where to find all the tools we might need. She then showed us her garden and the task to be done - a huge piles of branches, twigs and leaves to be cleared, some weeds to be removed and some hedges to be trimmed down to just a base.

With rain looking we got stuck in quickly. We soon found out that her garden was an absolute treasure trove of snails and they clearly loved the newly wet leaves and twigs in the garden. Below this huge mound of garden debris we also found lots of mint plants that had made their way across the entire garden.

After just 2 hours, a very good workout, and 14 full bin bags, we were all done and we left Mrs W with a lovely cleared view out her window, and a garden ready for some weedkiller and paving.
