This evening 2 GoodGymer's delivered leaflets for FoodCycle around Sutton Coldfield.

Richard (joined by his lovely dogs, AC and Zeb) and myself met at Sutton Coldfield train station and headed over towards the B75 post code of Sutton Coldfield, which is around where Food Cycle's Falcon Lodge project is based: https://www.foodcycle.org.uk/location/birmingham-falcon-lodge/.

We continued with our leaflet distribution task. The leaflets were advertising the various voluntary roles that FoodCycle have and which are vital to keeping this project going.

Again, it was a great active task and we were able to distribute a lot of leaflets. Whilst it rained for part of the mission, a lovely rainbow 🌈 appeared, as shown in the photos 😊

Free community dining

The project runs every Monday afternoon from the Falcon Lodge community centre. We collect surplus food from supermarkets, this is then turned into a free 3 course meal available for anyone to attend. The project is volunteer led and we require volunteers to collect, cook & serve the meal. We are looking to recruit more volunteers from the Sutton Coldfield area that would be available on a Monday afternoon to help support project operations
