Mrs E is a delightful lady, who is a wheelchair user living in a retirement village. A friend had recently set up an iPad for her, and she wanted help with putting in an order from Cook. I thought 'I can do this, I have an iPad, how difficult can that be?' Unfortunately the model she has is very different from mine. Although we managed to put some items in the virtual shopping basket, at some stage the page disappeared and I failed to retrieve it! She didn't want to continue, so next I tried to help her with a drawing package as she used to do a lot of painting. It was not one that I had used before so we were both starting from scratch. I pointed her towards some YouTube videos, but she really needs someone to teach her, who is familiar with the App. So then we gave up on the IT and had a nice chat, which was much more successful!
